Abracadabra is an ancient incantation linked to magic and healing. Its origin is Aramaic, the 2nd alphabet ever created, from the words 'avra kadavra', meaning "it will be created in my words". This is a magical idea that embodies the spirit of our scene here in Kwa-Zulu Natal and Darker Dimensions as a brand. We exist to create our own happiness. This year we are finally back bigger and better than ever before after 2 long years of lockdown! But there is a perk to this because without the lockdown we never would have discovered our new venue, Chantilly Resort in Zinkwazi, the ultimate place for a party! A truly stunning wedding venue, Chantilly offers high-quality facilities for you all to enjoy, and not to mention that the tropical climate is the best in the entire country around that time of year.

We have decided to team up with Mythical Experience Records from Cape Town this year, who will be coming up with a battalion of blasters to give us a taste of what they have going on down there. They will be joined by Hive Mind Visuals, good friends of ours who have also been making waves in Cape Town and who are long past due for a visit to wow us with their visual mapping skills.

There will be two (2) stages, the Warehouse dedicated to Psytrance and the Chapel dedicated to Techno. Our signature sound has always been more towards the harder and faster side of Psytrance, and this year we will be adding in some Hard Techno elements for a proper rave as well! However, as always, there will still be something for everyone. We have taken great care to curate a diverse and flowing line-up that will complement each hour of the day, as it steadily launches you into space.

Chantilly Resort is a unique venue for those looking to escape the hustle & bustle of city life. A relaxing oasis situated near Darnall, & only a few km's from the iconic holiday village of Zinkwazi Beach. A picturesque events venue, honeymoon & romantic getaway resort. Chantilly Resort welcomes the holidaymaker seeking pure relaxation and rejuvenation. Situated on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, near a little village known as Zinkwazi Beach, Chantilly Resort was once an old homestead that was part of the Victoria County. Set among magnificent old trees and rolling hills of sugar cane, it was recently converted into a captivating resort. Chantilly offers luxury self-catering or B&B accommodation designed to maximise the outdoor experience. The hunting lodge with large television screens and a fully-fledged restaurant makes this location ideal for conferences and weddings. The resort is only 80 km from Durban and is close to a variety of amenities.

Darker Dimensions will be handling all accommodation arrangements so please do not contact the venue directly as it may cause confusion. Camping on Friday night the 1st of July 2022 and Saturday night the 2nd of July 2022 are included in the ticket. Chantilly has the following other accommodation options available if you don't want to pitch a tent:

- 3 x Luxury Chalets at R600 per person per night, minimum 2 people for a minimum 2-night stay (Both Friday & Saturday night) = R2400, comes with ensuite bathroom and small kitchen. An extra mattress can be added in for R350 per night.

Then there is the following accommodation available at Nkwazi Eco Backpackers next door, 200m down the road:

- 1 x Double room with en-suite bathroom @ R450 per person per night, minimum 2 people for a minimum 2-night stay (Both Friday & Saturday night) = R1800.

- 1 x Twin room with shared bathroom @ R350 per person per night, minimum 2 people for a minimum 2-night stay (Both Friday & Saturday night) = R1400.

- 2 x Double rooms with shared bathroom @ R350 per person per night, minimum 2 people for a minimum 2-night stay (Both Friday & Saturday night) = R1400.

An extra mattress can be added to these rooms for R250 per night.

From Durban, take the N2 towards Stanger and after approximately 80km take exit 245 Darnall / Zinkwazi and turn left towards Darnall. After 2.9km the turn-off for Chantilly Resort will be on your left. Follow the dirt road for less than 1km, drive past Nkwazi Eco Backpackers for another 200m until you get to the gate of Chantilly Resort.
